Relaxing Island Oasis
My friend and I stayed here for four nights in June as a base to explore Waiheke Island and to just generally relax at the end of our trip to the South Pacific. Nat and Grant have created a beautifully relaxed, quirk-ily fitted out guesthouse with stunning views visible from the deck to gardens and forest and a great welcoming/non-intrusive atmosphere.
We loved using the space as a place to relax and enjoyed meetinmg alpacas Al & Chino and little dog Shanti. Muesli breakfast was great, plus the shared kitchen meant we could cook in the evenings after picking up ingredients from the nearby supermarket (approx 15 mins walk away).
We picked the Puekeko room which is up a small flight of stairs away from the other two rooms and has a private bathroom (the second bathroom services the other two rooms). Really great sized space/better value for the size than you could get in any hotels in the area.
Can't recommend it enough if you are looking for somewhere a bit different to truly relax and wind down.
