Waiheke Rental Cars is Waiheke Islands leading vehicle rental firm. Locally owned and operated, we offer our clients a wealth of knowledge and can ensure your experience on Waiheke Island is fun filled and memorable.
We have two offices, one located inside the Matiatia Ferry Terminal Building and one located at the Matiatia Rental Centre (top of carpark). We are happy to supply maps and any brochure that will make your trip easier. Our friendly staff have a wealth of knowledge and are ready to help make your stay on Waiheke Island unforgettable.
Rental Cars
We offer our customers a wide range of rental vehicles including late-model sedans, hatchbacks, people movers, minivans and much more. Child seats are available for $15.00 per day and capped at $50.00 long term.
Standard vehicle rental is based on a calendar day rate, please check our website for details and costings.
For all hire agreements there is an insurance damage excess of $2500.00 for drivers over the age of 25 ($3000.00 ages 21- 25). Alternatively, you can buy down the insurance excess to $350.00 at a cost of $25.00 per day ( or $500.00 if 21-25 years at a cost of $35.00 per day)
