There are regular car / vehicle ferries to Waiheke Island. Sailings depart from Half Moon Bay in Auckland, and on the weekends including Friday night Sealink operate additional sailings to Waiheke Island from Auckland City. Waiheke Car Ferries run hourly over peak times of the day and are well appointed with licensed cafe/bars, comfortable seating and viewing decks.
