It is officially spring! New Zealand declares the beginning of the spring season at the beginning of the month, although some people may argue that spring officially begins on the vernal equinox which is never at the exact same time but falls at a specific moment usually on september 21st or 22nd in New Zealand. Whatever you believe, spring has arrived on Waiheke Island.
