Waiheke Artist Kelley Diener’s studio is open most days. “My commitment to doing art begins with in depth research of a chosen subject matter. I keep extensive visual diaries to document my learning and to watch how my work unfolds from concept to exhibition. The fun part is interpreting what I have learned onto a support. If I am to be categorized, then I consider myself to be a layerist. Learning and practicing art is lifelong mission, and keeps my creative juices flowing.”
